Who We Are

Over the course of more than a century, the Three-man event, also known as Team Bronc Riding, has gone through adaptations, and the sport has developed into something that is more than simply a tradition; rather, it has become one of the most difficult and competitive events in the Professional Rodeo circuit. The cowboys of Team Bronc Riding are continually seeking for techniques to improve their performance, just like they do in many other sports.

Providing a humane, safe, and competitive form of entertainment is the only mission of the Professional Wild Horse Racing Association (PWHRA), which was established with the express intention of preserving the wild horse racing event that is the oldest of all rodeos. This is accomplished via the continuing expansion of rodeos and membership.

We are the first 501c3 non-profit Wild Horse Racing Association with a liability insurance policy. Our Board of Directors has over 100 years of combined rodeo experience from former wild horse racers, champions, judges, and rodeo secretaries.
